This Disney movie is age appropriate for children age 5-12. There are some unlying content and jokes that were in the movie that was meant for adults, and it was very well put together. This movie is about determination and following your heart for the greater good. I personally liked Moana. This is unlike other classic Disneys movies heroines who venture out for love or selfish endeavors. Moana knew her purpose in life, her adventure was for the benefit of others, it was unselfishly in the pursuit of others happiness not just her own. I would recommend this move to all friends and family based on the concept and how to promotes unity, drive, and determination. I will also give it 5 -stars.
“On Motunui, a small island in Polynesia, young Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) is being raised to lead, but dreams of nautical adventure instead. Impending disaster causes her to finally head out past the reef, teaming up with a braggart demigod named Maui (Dwayne Johnson) on a mission involving a magical stone.”★★★★★
